This blog is about sharing my love of reading and providing you with book lists to purchase for your children around christmas time and beyond.
As a teacher and family man I have often spent a Sunday evening planning for the week ahead. After all, inspiring children is what my job is all about. If I can manage to do this then part of my job is made easier. Promoting the love of reading opens up many more avenues and opens up children's eyes in a way that video games never do. It can take them to foreign shores, take them to space and back and provide dreams for a bright future.
One question I have always been asked is to recommend good books to children of all ages. Parents from every year group often approach me with questions and gift ideas, particularly around christmas time and birthdays.
I hope you enjoy the list that I have out together and will continue to update throughout the year.
